This policy explains how SaveT handles personal data and saved content.

Scope

This policy applies to the SaveT mobile app and related backend services.

Data We Collect

  • Account data, including email address handled through Firebase Authentication.
  • User-generated content, including saved links, notes, tags, and related metadata.
  • Technical logs and anonymous analytics events used for reliability, security, diagnostics, and product improvement.

How SaveT uses data

  • Provide core bookmarking and organization functionality
  • Sync and secure user data across sessions/devices
  • Improve features, reliability, and product quality

Third Party Services

SaveT may use the following third party services to provide app functionality:

Advertising

  • SaveT displays ads provided by Google AdMob on supported free-tier experiences.
  • AdMob may collect device identifiers and IP address to serve non-personalized ads.
  • SaveT does not use personalized advertising.
  • Paid premium plans may disable ads where that feature is included in your subscription.

Analytics

  • SaveT uses Umami Analytics (hosted at cloud.umami.is) to collect anonymous usage and reliability data.
  • No cookies are used in the app analytics flow. SaveT does not send your email address or Firebase user ID to Umami.
  • Umami may receive: event names (for example app opened, login, list actions), device language, and country derived from IP. Umami does not store IP addresses in its standard analytics processing.
  • Some events include limited technical metadata (for example error codes, provider names, or short diagnostic messages) to monitor API limits, outages, and app stability. These events are not used to identify you personally.
  • Referrer is not collected. A fixed placeholder screen size may be sent for Umami API compatibility; your actual device screen resolution is not collected for analytics.
  • Analytics supports product improvement and service reliability under legitimate interests where applicable. You may object to this processing where GDPR applies by contacting us.

AI Enrichment

  • AI enrichment is active only with user consent.
  • URL data and content metadata may be sent to third party AI servers for enrichment.
  • Connection data, including IP address, may be processed by those third party services.
  • You can disable AI enrichment at any time from app settings.

Data sharing and processors

Data may be processed by infrastructure and service providers required for product operation (for example authentication, hosting, and databases). SaveT does not sell user data.

User Rights (GDPR)

  • You have the right to access your personal data.
  • You have the right to delete your personal data.
  • You have the right to object to processing where applicable.
  • You can delete your account and all related data from inside the app.
  • To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at legal@mgonnacrusht.co.uk with your registered email address. We will process your request within 30 days.

Data Retention

  • When you delete your account, all related Firestore data is deleted.
  • Local cache is cleared when the app is removed from your device.

Children's Privacy

SaveT is not directed to children under 13 and is not intended for use by children under 13, consistent with COPPA requirements.

International Data Transfer

Your data may be processed on servers based in the United States or other countries through providers such as Google, xAI, and Umami (cloud.umami.is).
